Thank You Daisy

I had a thank you card to make this week, this one is for my daughter's dance teacher who also owns the local flower shop. I just love how it turned out!! For a bit more sparkle next time I would add some dazzling diamonds (aka glitter) to the lighter colored petals before assembling and curling. Each layer of the flowers has three different colors of cardstock before sticking a brad through the middle. I did find that gluing each layer to the one below first helped keep it all together before putting the brad through. I curled each color before gluing as well which was easier also.

Card base: Melon Mambo

Flowers: Elegant Eggplant, Lovely Lilac, and Orchid Opulence

Sizzix die: Top Note (white card stock)

Leaves: Old Olive with sizzix die

Misc: embossing folder (swiss dots), hodgepodge hardware
