Congrats on Becoming a Teacher

Another card for my mom...a friend of her's daughter just finished her teaching degree at a later stage in her life.  This is also a 6x6 card...I'm not sure if she is an elementary teacher or high school so I hope this cover's both basis...

Recipe:

~ card base is Kraft by SU

~ first layer is core'dinations "cosmo crickets neutral collection"

~ the A+ circle is from SU First Day stamp set and embossed

~ the notebook stamp is embossed in black and is from imaginisce

~ the top layer on the front and the inside is SU DSP "Notebook"

~ the sentiment is embossed in black and from SU

~ the quote on the inside is a Tim Holtz one

Easel Garden

This is a 6x6 easel card for my mom's friend who has a bday coming up later this month.  I hope she likes it.

Recipe:

~ the majority of items used are from Stampin' Up

~ easel base is Mellow Moss cardstock from SU

~ the daisies are all cut from the Sizzix/SU Daisy die (awesome die)

~ the brads are the rhinestone brads by SU

~ the frawned punch by Martha Stewart makes the leaves on the bottom

~ the butterfly is also a MS punch

Father's Day Mini Album...

My Grandparents have just recently passed away, and I have acquired some old family photos, including some photos of my Dad as a youngster.  So I decided to make a mini album for him for Father's Day - he has everything else!!  Lots of Tim Holtz Goodies - as usual!!  Used chipboard as a base for the die cut Tim tags.  Used real photo negatives for the back page.

Baby Shower

This is the baby shower invitation that I made for my sister's baby shower...I had two of her friends come over and make about 16 of them in an assembly line...it was easy once I had everything cut out...

Recipe:

~ Bashful Blue cardstock by SU

~ designer paper for the trim by SU

~ Bashful blue ink for the background stamp

~ certainly celery ink by SU

~ scallop circle punch for the onsie trim

~ scallop oval for the sentiment

So much fun and perfect for the shower

Sunflower

After the wedding card was such a hit my mom asked for another card...this one is being sent overseas so I took into account the weight and no raised embellishments...it is hard to see in the photo but I did color lightly the petals of the sunflower in yellow.

Recipe:

~ card base is basic black card stock from SU

~ next layer is Daffidol yellow from SU

~ then good ole whisper white also from SU

~ not sure what company the sunflower is from but hopefully Lisa will add that to the post (it is a silicone stamp which is pretty cool and comes out so nice) La Blanche is the company.

~ I used Stazon On in black for the sunflower and the sentiment

A pretty basic card but lots of punch...

New Stuff

So my mom asked me to make a card for her that she could give to her good friend's son who is getting married at the Calgary Stampede...a bit of a challenge and of course the week I needed my creative brain to work my body decided to through strep throat at me as a challenge...so the above is the result of what I came up with...she loves it so that is the main thing....

Recipe:

~ all Stampin Up! stuff except the rodeo stamp which is a Tim Holtz

~ crumb cake is the card base with very vanilla layered on top

~ the bride and groom are embossed in black

~ the rodeo stamp is done is basic grey by SU

~ it is a 6x6 card
